The business problem

A mobile app is often conceived as a smaller version of the website. But the mobile user is in different circumstances: weak connectivity, one-handed use, working in a warehouse or on the road. When those conditions are ignored, the app gets installed, opened once and deleted.

What we build

We design the app from the actual conditions of use. When the connection drops, work continues: data is stored locally and synchronises once the link is back. Notifications are tied to real events, not to bulk marketing. The release process — App Store and Google Play requirements, signing, version management — is on us.

What the client gets

  • One codebase producing both an iOS and an Android app
  • Offline operation with automatic synchronisation
  • Store release and version management handled
  • Crash reporting and usage statistics

Possible integrations

  • Push notification services
  • REST / GraphQL API
  • Apple App Store
  • Google Play
  • Biometric authentication
  • Barcode / QR scanning

Rollout stages

  1. 01

    Architecture and design

We work out the usage scenarios and screen flow from the real conditions of use.

  2. 02

    Development

App and server API are built in parallel, with a test build at the end of each cycle.

  3. 03

    Pilot operation

We test with a limited group of users, on real devices.

  4. 04

    Full rollout

Store submission, passing review, and monitoring the first release.

Security approach

Data stored on the device is encrypted and session keys are kept in the platform’s secure storage. Biometric sign-in is supported. The app’s connection to the server is protected by certificate validation.

Ongoing support

iOS and Android bring new requirements every year — compatibility updates are part of support. Crash reports are monitored and fixes ship in planned releases.
