What the client gets

  • Seller console, moderation queue and commission calculation
  • Catalogue and search sized for hundreds of thousands of listings
  • Payments, settlement cycles and a dispute process
  • Three-language interface and an SEO-ready structure

The business problem

A marketplace is a fundamentally different system from an online shop. It has two sides’ interests, moderation, commission calculation, settlement with sellers and dispute resolution. A standard e-commerce platform assumes none of that — which is why these projects stall after the first hundred sellers.

What we build

The platform is built multi-sided from day one: seller console, moderation queue, commission rules, settlement cycles and the dispute process are separate modules. Catalogue and search are sized for hundreds of thousands of listings. Ratings and reviews are tied to real transactions, which makes them far harder to fake.

Rollout stages

  1. 01

    Architecture and design

We agree the roles of each side, the commission model and the settlement cycle.

  2. 02

    Development

We build the catalogue, search, seller console and moderation modules.

  3. 03

    Integration

We connect payments, delivery and the accounting systems.

  4. 04

    Pilot operation

We launch with a limited set of sellers and test the settlement cycle under real conditions.

  5. 05

    Full rollout

We open registration; scaling is configured once load testing is done.

Possible integrations

  • Payment gateways
  • Elasticsearch / OpenSearch
  • 1C
  • Delivery service APIs
  • S3-compatible storage
  • SMS gateways

Security approach

Payment data is never stored on the platform — checkout is handed to the provider’s protected environment. Seller document verification is built as a separate process. Price and stock changes are logged so history can be reconstructed during a dispute.

Ongoing support

As the catalogue grows, search and indexing parameters are retuned. New payment and delivery providers are added as needed.
